One thing I noticed early on was that children remembered the tricks I performed – even years later.
Then I got the idea, what if I used the memory ‘stickiness’ of the magic trick and attached an educational concept to it? Sure enough, it worked a treat.
I develop shows around topics preschool staff tell me they have difficulty with. You know, thing like ‘Brush your teeth twice a day!’.
By building magic tricks and magic props for each concept, the shows grow into hilarious ways for kids to learn without realising it.
The bonus materials for Preschools to display and send home with kids, reinforce the messages even after the show day. Plus the parents can see the value in what their child has learnt and can even join in at home.
In short, the kids laugh while learning and the messages stick!
